Setting Up Procedure

There are 3 mini fields, a U9 field and a full size field at George's Heights Oval. All equipment is located in the shed at George's Heights Oval with the exception of the U9 posts which are located behind the bushes next to the shed.

Sub-juniors and Juniors

All posts, corner flags for the mini fields and the U9 field and LJ Hooker toblerones must be set up prior to the 8.30am kick off.

The U9 posts are in 3 pieces and must be put together on the field not near the shed. The holes where the U9 posts are located have plugs in side and the plugs must be taken out and placed just behind the posts allowing the last team playing to put the plugs back in after the posts are put away. The U9 nets need to be pegged fully into the ground with the lump hammer.

For all fields there are only 4 flags per field these are to be located at each corner of the playing field.

Seniors

The first senior team playing at George's Heights Oval must get the nets from the shed and place on the posts which are already located in the correct position. The nets need to be pegged fully into the ground with the lump hammer. The 4 corner flags can be taken from the U9 field when there last game has finished. You will need to get another 2 flags to show the centre line these can be taken from one of the sub junior fields when there game is finished.

Packing Away Procedure

Sub-juniors and Juniors

All sub junior games must be finished and packed away prior to 1pm as this is when the senior game kicks off.

All posts, corner flags and toblerones must be neatly packed away in the shed, please do not just throw all equipment into the shed as this only causes confusion and mayhem for the next weekend. Nets and pegs where used should be put back in the appropriate bin and placed out of the way in the shed.

The U9 posts must be dismantled and placed behind the bushes next to the shed as the posts do not fit inside the shed. The plugs which should be located just behind the posts must be placed back into the holes as the senior games which kicks off at 1pm takes in the U9 field and if the plugs are not put back into the holes this then makes the senior field unsafe as there will be big gaping holes which will cause serious injury to any player to when running trips over. Actually the opposition team can deem the surface unsafe thus Mosman forfeits the game. PLEASE PUT THE PLUGS BACK IN THE HOLES AS THERE IS NO SPARE PLUGS IN THE SHED. DO NOT LOSE THE PLUGS AS WE WILL BE BILLED TO GET NEW PLUGS.

Seniors

When the last senior team has finished please remove the nets and pegs and place them back in the bins. Place the bins with the corner flags neatly back into the shed.

When all equipment is packed away then close the shed.

Please remove all empty bottles and other general rubbish from the ground and place into bins located around George's Heights Oval.
